It has been forty-seven years since Harry 'the Boy Who Lived' Potter had defeated Lord Voldemort upon the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In those forty-seven years, Harry and his friends have watched their children, godchildren, nieces, and nephews grow up and start families of their own. Now it is their grandchildrens' turns to discover their place within the magical world.
The grandchildren of the second war survivors have had a peaceful and sheltered life within the wizarding world. The wizarding world in itself too has changed drastically since the end of the war. No longer hidden away from the eyes of muggles, the magical world has embraced various muggle concepts such as shopping malls, movie theatres, roller rinks, technology, and nightclubs. Those muggles who are blessed with a magical child have been encouraged to immerse themselves into the daily workings of the wizarding world. Few of which have established their own retail shops and cafes within the limits of Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade Village, and Wyles Village.
Muggle technology and social media has also taken giant steps into the workings of the magical world. No longer are owls and patronus used to send letters or urgent messages. Instead cells phone with their texting and video capabilities have all but removed owls from their message delivering responsibilities. New curriculums have been added to the Hogwarts School rapts sheet for attending students along with various student clubs and prestigious student positions.
But no matter how stable the wizarding world appears to be, there is still those who are haunted by the past. And with such hauntings still lingering in those who had survived the second war fifty years ago, this can only bring about new nightmares for the current generation.
A dark presence as old as ancient times is hiding within the shadows. Eyes filled with calculating glares taking in knowledge of unsuspecting prey and their weaknesses and strengths. Offering alluring proposals to those who crave more than what they have been given or currently own. Unwritten magical contracts that binds the dealer and recipient through a drop of sacred magical blood.
The slow disappearances of random young witches and wizards within an age range of 13 to 28. All of which are unrelated to one another. The Ministry of Magic trying its best to gain any solid leads to these missing young adults without causing chaos among the general public. But when word slips out that three prominent Hogwarts students have gone missing within Hogwarts grounds, families will have to make brash decisions on whether they believe that Hogwarts is the safest places for their children to be.
