biography The son of Jamaican immigrants who moved to New York just before he was born, Hartford Anderson grew up in the Big Apple, and developed a love for the melting pot of culture and people in what he called home. It was far from being a conventional upbringing, but it was what Hartford was used to, what he had grown to love and what he wanted to continue doing as he got older. When he began showing signs of magic, he was worried that his parents would be angry, that they would scream that their child was one of the Devil, that they wanted nothing to do with him - though that thankfully hadn't been the case. His parents welcomed his uniqueness with open arms, proud of the fact that their only son was someone that no other parent in the neighborhood could say that their son was - a wizard. It made Hartford happy, it made him realize that he could achieve his dreams, that being magical was just a stepping stone on that path, and even when we went to school in Jamaica, he never felt lost or ashamed of who he was shaping up to be. Upon graduation, the young man returned to New York, awaiting his acceptance to the Ramsay College for Culinary Artistry. It was one of the most prolific culinary institutes in the world, and upon receiving that acceptance, Hartford was going to be part of their world. Having a passion for food ever since he was young meant that he was following a different path than his mother and father, but one that he was proud of nevertheless. They encouraged him, they supported him, and he became what he wanted to be more than anything — a chef, opening his own restaurant when he turned 22. It was when Hartford met someone that his life changed dramatically, someone who challenged his every viewpoint, and made it impossible not to see him everyday when he began renting the apartment above his restaurant. It didn't take long for casual greetings and free meals to become a friendship, and an even shorter time elapsed between the two men becoming more than friends... It made them both happier, though any good thing has to come to an end rather quickly, right? The attack that led to Ronan fleeing and running back to London with his tail between his legs had not been his fault, but Hartford hadn't been able to do anything to convince him otherwise while he was healing. The younger man eventually disappeared, and Hartford was alone again, losing that happiness that he had become so accustomed to whilst the other man had been around. It was over, and he was left with scars and a sweater that the werewolf had left behind in his haste. However, the world is now on the brink of destruction, and Hartford is using whatever years they have left to make things right, brought to London by the efforts of Ronan's older brother... Who definitely surprised him that night at the airport. RP SAMPLE EXCUSED. | miscellaneous WAND INFO pear wood chinese fireball horn ten inches CHARACTER STRENGTHS:
