biography Born Charlotte Simms, Charlie was the middle child to their older sister and the younger twins. She was far closer to her father than her mother, with his obsession for all things muggle and the history of his life during the wizarding war taking precedent for Charlie. They were enthralled with stories from the Order and the war, along with Atticus' imprisonment for being a muggleborn. The pride that Atticus had for his heritage multiplied within Charlie, and they were a vocal, proud muggleborn from the moment they could conceptualize what that meant. At eleven, Charlie was Sorted into Ravenclaw at Hogwarts. They were studious, albeit a bit mischievous. Having both mum and dad as professors within the school during her tenure helped keep Charlie out of trouble, but that didn't stop her from getting into a fair number of physical altercations during her schooling. Mainly, Charlie was an advocate for fair treatment for all, and pushed back against any rhetoric that denounced the legitimacy of muggleborn or halfbreeds. At fourteen, Charlie fully adopted Charlie was their legal name, coming out as genderfluid. This led to an entirely new slew of fights, with Charlie having to defend their identity to some of their peers. This didn't grind on her, however - it simply gave her a renewed sense of spirit. Upon graduation, Charlie held various odd and end positions. She worked at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for a short time between her seventh year and the year prior to graduation, then waited at a muggle diner for a bit. Eventually, they had gotten a position at Slug & Jigger's Apothecary, and things seemed to be on the upswing. That was, until Clara was killed. The attack on the Gryffindor tower stole many lives, but Clara's was the most detrimental to the Simms. Amelia and Atticus shut themselves away, and Charlie became bitter and resentful. They began to lash out more and more, having accrued a few charges against them for assault against some Purebloods. And the blows didn't stop. Over a year later, tragedy struck again. Atticus was struck down during the attack on Hogsmeade, and Cora was nearly killed as well. This was a turning point for Charlie, who promptly quit their job at the apothecary. They set out to seek vengeance against the man who killed her father, but they had a greater goal as well - to cause as much chaos and suffering against those that supported the Death Eaters and all they stood for. Charlie picked up a job at Mr. Mulpepper's instead, with Knockturn Alley being a hub of information. She began to thieve from high-end, high-ranking officials, taking what she's stolen and giving it to those in need.
