biography Rylee was born in Germany as Reinhilde. Her parents were two people without any magical capabilities, but who miraculously knew of the magical world or so they thought. They had incidentally seen a series of incidents they could not explain away as mere coincidence. This spurred an intense and ling fascination in the world of the supernatural and spells. Little did the two know that it had indeed all been a deep misunderstanding and that the events had not been magical at all. The damage had been done, however, and her two parents became occult fanatics. They were frequently visiting psychics, analyzing tales of fantasy, and investigating ghost stories. This continued beyond the birth of Rylee. This, of course, led to quite a strange childhood for Rylee, especially when her family up and moved from Germany to the U.K. because they felt that it was a hot spot for all sorts of wonderous and spooky activities. They weren't bad parents by any means, but they were a little off and there was small distance between them and their children. Despite this semi-ridiculous upbringing that Rylee did wholeheartedly support, she too grew a small fascination for things like that. She had a vivid imagination and was frequently drawing and writing her own spooky stories or darkly beautiful paintings. When she was revealed to have magical powers, her parents turned everything up to eleven. They treated her more like a subject than her child, although they never harmed her in anyway. They were filled with an abnormal amount of love for her powers. It was overbearing and frankly discouraging. Still, off went Rylee to Hogwarts so she could hone her magic. While there, she changed her name, trying to create a sort of independence from her own family. She graduated with amazing grades, mostly due to her complete and utter composure in most things. She wanted to become an artists but knew that would be difficult at first and she would more than likely have to continue to stay with her overbearing parents for a longer period of time. Instead she decided to put her skills in Transfiguration to use and intern before eventually becoming a teacher in her own right. She still keeps in contact with her parents and she also strives to make sure that her two younger brothers have someone that can ease up the pressure on them as they have developed their own magical abilities.
