biography Minjun's entrance into the world was not by any means a pretty one. His mother was told, as a muggle woman carrying a pair of half werewolf twins, it was a miracle even one of her babies survived, let alone both. For his parents, the heart defect and malformed leg that their son was born with was not an issue in the slightest. He was alive, and they had every intention of loving him for as long as they could, knowing full well that it would not be for a long time. From the moment he was born, it was understood that Minjun would be survived by his family, his parents and his perfectly healthy twin sister. What no one could have expected was the boy's will to survive. The werewolf genetics that had nearly torn his mother apart from the inside was the very thing that kept the ill body he inhabited going for far longer than anyone would have expected. It was almost as if the boy knew he was living on borrowed time, even as a chid, and he more than made up for it in terms of accomplishments. Minjun excelled in school, he was exceedingly bright and skipped more than a few years of schooling. At 15, Min graduated from Jodo-Myeon at the top of his class and was offered an internship position all the way in London based on a dissertation he'd written on the applications of alchemic properties in everyday use. His parents were hesitant to let their son go, not wanting to be away from him with his health in the state that it was, but Min was determined that he would be able to handle it on his own. His family was not rich in any sense of the word, but sent him off with everything they could offer to begin his life in London. London was not exactly what he'd expected. People were overtly cruel in ways he had not anticipated, he was looked down upon in his work for a wide variety of reasons, and while it bothered him, he never allowed it to dissuade him from pursuing what he wanted. He would believe in himself if no one else would. At nineteen he was hired as an evaluator in the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells & Protective Objects and worked his way up. Currently he is the unofficial head evaluator, and while he has applied for many promotions and positions in which he would be able to continue his research on alchemy and charms, he has consistently been denied any higher positions or titles.
