Death has rampaged freely for 5 years, leaving much of the world desolate. Vampires roam freely at night, as do those humans loyal to the entity. Non-magical folk have been eradicated almost in their entirety, being too unprepared for the revelation of magic ontop of an apocolyptic onslaught. Werewolves have dwindled in numbers, as their packs and hunting patterns were extensively studied and targeted. The Order of the Phoenix, one of the only cohesive bodies of stability left, has dwindled as well. Many have left the saftey of the safehouses to venture out and survive on their own, fully believing this to be the new normal. But, Piper Steele and the others have not given up hope yet. There may still be a glimmer of light in the darkness. |
