biography As far as things went, Theia Sinclair's life was fairly simple. She was the youngest of a family of 4 siblings, close to each of them in her own way. Her elder sister taught her what it was like to be a Pureblood woman, and her elder brothers instilled a sense of confidence that bordered on arrogance. She acquired her magic at the early age of 3, and was a potent witch from the beginning. She began at Hogwarts as a Gryffindor at 11, and took to the top of her class with her attentive nature and competitive attitude. She didn't face tragedy until the age of 12, when her mother passed away of cancer. The muggle disease claimed her quickly, and she had spent the last few months of her life bedridden. Theia, for the first time in her life, knew what weakness felt like. And she never wanted to feel it again. Her sense of pride morphed into a sense of entitlement and, as she grew, she spent more and more time climbing the social ladder. At the end of her time at Hogwarts, she was a bold force to be reckoned with, with an auror position seemingly on the horizon. But, it wasn't meant to be. Theia was attacked and Turned by a vampire shortly after graduating, turning her life completely upside down. At first, as a weak and hungry fledgling, she fled from her old life out of fear. It wasn't until Ivan Alucard found her that things began to make sense. Her vampirism didn't make her weak - it made her strong. Theia severed all connections with her past life, though few had remained after she had been Turned. She adopted a new name, becoming a Solas as opposed to a Sinclair. She became a dedicated member of Ivan's coven along with her best friend, Aylin, and joined the side of her creator, Death, when it revealed itself to the world.
