biography Until Lenora was nine, her family lived in France, and the Moreau family was one of the classic old names. Her parents had met in a quaint little village, Avignon, and were charmed by each other and the town simultaneously, quickly marrying and settling. The war had affected their family minimally; they mostly stayed under the radar and affiliated with neither the death eaters nor the order, but they did often support members who needed hiding or a safe house to stay in to avoid capture, torture, or death. Her life in France was quiet and simple, with her sister, Elise, off at Beauxbatons. It was intended for Lenora to attend the same school. It was Wesley’s job that moved them out of France and to the realm of England, and the reputation of Hogwarts had monumentally escalated in the years since Harry Potter’s legacy, and her father had attended the wizarding school when he was young. With whispers of the half-breed problems rising, Lenora’s father would be an instrumental activism voice, with a goal to help them secure rights they were denied for decades. Lenora’s own sympathy for half-breeds runs deep, and she holds a special affection for them. Lenora was sent her Hogwarts letter as well as a letter from Beauxbatons, and, after plenty of debate between her mother and father, she chose to attend Hogwarts. Upon her arrival, she was sorted into Slytherin, but unlike how many liked to stereotype her, she wasn’t completely heartless. She could be cold, calculating, but she had a large desire to know everything she could, and her smile could melt the coldest hearts, if one was so lucky enough to elicit it from her. She adored her years at Hogwarts, growing a network of friends and a range of suitors that tried to woo her, but she hadn’t shown any interest in any of them, mostly because of their big, snobbish names that wanted her because of her looks and her poise, rather than her soul. It all changed when she met Archie Weyland. The two were drawn together immediately, a strange Slytherin and Hufflepuff pair. They dated for part of their sixth year and into their seventh, before Archie was attacked. It was Lenora’s father and his connections that saved the boy his youngest daughter loved. Sadly, despite everything, the relationship didn’t last. Too much was rapidly happening in the world, and the couple split. With Hogwarts being attacked multiple times, doubt in the school’s safety began to rise, and Lenora’s mother was one of the loudest naysayers, not wanting her daughter to attend the school in the first place. So, after the breakup and over the winter break, Lenora quietly transferred to Beauxbatons, where she finished out her seventh-year. Now, with her graduation behind her, Lenora has returned to London, reuniting with the people of her past—but with a new beau on her arm: Omar Krum.
