biography life for julieta had always been exciting. the youngest of seven, her household was nothing short of chaotic; and she loved it. silence became almost odd in the years of her childhood. always the instigator, she much preferred trying to tackle her elder siblings in her youth to sitting down with a book or a toy; juli was incredibly close to her family, and took pride in being the baby of the santos'. though both her parents were muggleborn, she was one of two that ended up holding those same magics. hector, her older brother, was her guide to the wizarding world. as a direct consequence, he became the one that julieta repeatedly looked up to even as they grew older. it wasn't until school that julieta began finding a love for something else, too; archeology. there was something enchanting about both the stories and the adventure that was naturally wrapped up in the career. it likely didn't help matters that hector was in a pathway adjacent; but this would be a fact she wouldn't recognize nor admit until many, many years later. in her younger years at the institute, she envied the older students and instead admired the classes and work from afar. when she was old enough, she plunged head first into the subject. archeology proved to be the perfect blend of julieta's ambitious tendencies and intelligence. in her other classes she did relatively well, making both good grades and lasting memories with a wide group of friends, but in archeology? well, she soared. following graduation at the mere age of eighteen, julieta began traveling the world. hopping from project to project, and thus adventure to adventure, her professor's initial recommendation and subsequent experience allowed her to keep squeezing her way into teams for digs and studies on practically every continent. she continued to send letters home to her family, detailing her adventures- though, she notably left off a few near-death experiences that were only her fault half of the time. in those four years following leaving school, julieta thrived. eventually, though, she decided she wanted to try settling down in lieu of the continuous rotations around the globe. with hector in london, and the conflicts of the wizarding world seemingly centered around the hub, she decided that would be the prime location for the attempt. that, and hogwarts had a beautiful spot for her; the wizarding archeology internship was vacant. when all the pieces align, it is difficult to say no. this was how julieta found herself settling into a country that she surprisingly had not explored much; a new type of adventure, if there ever was one.
