Description:
With the Roadhouse gone the Hunters information network took a major hit, cutting off part of the information flow that some relied on to get word around. Unable to get the word out a new Supernatural threat slipped in from the background working towards its goal with very little resistance. Those who learned of the creatures plan fought it straight to the final battle and lost. On the eve of Dean Winchester's death a plague was released on an unsuspecting world. People were warned, but no one believed. The virus started slowly with people getting sick, it was airborne going from the release point, New York City, to wherever the wind took it. Once caught the plague mutated and each person who had it became a carrier. It traveled like the common cold until finally three months later people began to die.
Being reported wrong it left most people in the dark of what was really happening until it was practically knocking on their door. Those who survived the onslaught of the zombies think that is all they have to fear beside their uncertain future, but they will learn soon that there is more out there than just the living dead. When 98% of the human population is used as a sacrifice you can bet there is one hell of a force waiting in the background to finish the remainder.
Set in 2008 the Supernatural Dead picks up three weeks after the Walker out break has begun. The Z Plague was made out to be much like the plague in Stephen King's The Stand was. A Super Flu bug that was going world wide. Cold Medicine companies made tons of money from it, but really no one had a cure for it. People just kept getting sicker and sicker. The CDC was working towards trying to cure this new flu, but something seemed off about the samples they got. It wasn't until after people started dying and than coming back that they realized they had it all wrong and started working on a cure. By than it was too late. It spread even quicker now and was reported as rioting, but the times it was caught on live video anyone who watched or witnessed it themselves knew it was more than that. The nation was put under martial law. People were told to stay in their homes and than finally told to get to designated safe zones. No one knew until it was too late that staying in your homes and going to these 'safe' zones was the military's final plan of action against the virus. Mass clean up.
