biography Alexandra and Sean Levens were, in all aspects of the term, a fairytale couple. They met their seventh year of Hogwarts, Sean in Ravenclaw and Alexandra in Hufflepuff. Both were purebloods from good families, the perfect match for one another. If one didn’t know any better, one would think their match was an orchestrated arrangement by their parents, as was common with pureblood children. It wouldn’t take long, though, for one to see the love that Alexandra and Sean looked at one another with. This was no match made by parents in the interest of preserving bloodlines—no, this was a match made in the heavens, an electric love for the ages. The couple moved in together shortly after graduation, though it would be five more years before they were wed. No one who saw the couple would ever be able to deny the love Alexandra had for her husband and Sean for his wife. A year after their wedding, the Levens welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their family. Phillip was the apple of his parents’ eye, a beautiful gift for the young couple with his mother's eyes. Sean and Alexandra were happy with their only son, though three years later the world would prove to have other plans for them; Trinity was welcomed into the family with open arms, and the Levens grew from three to four. Phillip’s childhood was wonderful and free of hardship or conflict. Alexandra and Sean were attentive, loving parents who asked nothing of their children than what they wanted to give. When it was time for Phillip to enter Hogwarts, he was sorted into Gryffindor almost immediately, donning the crimson of his house with pride. Though neither of his parents were Gryffindors, they were proud of him nonetheless. At school Phillip flourished, finding friends in just about anyone he met. He quickly rose to somewhere near the top of his class, excelling in Charms and Potions. He had a magnetic personality that left him with no shortage of friends, and no shortage of trouble to get into. He was never in too much trouble, but he was known for the adventures he and his friends went on throughout school. In his fourth year, Phillip was joined at Hogwarts by his little sister, who followed in their mother's footsteps and donned the yellow and black colors of Hufflepuff. Phillip started taking band in his first year, having taken piano lessons as a child. He flourished there, learning instruments at break-neck speed. Hours in the band room kept him out of the worst of the trouble he could be in, and before long he had learned upright bass and viola and was teaching himself to play the banjo. Phillip won a spot on his quidditch team in his third year, though he never made it only the regular roster, doomed to spend his years at Hogwarts as a reserve keeper. By the end of his time at Hogwarts he would have seen only four games, though he still enjoyed his time on the team and learning what he could. Phillip had never joined the team with the intention of being some quidditch superstar, after all; he had joined to have fun, to be a part of something he enjoyed, and he did just that. His sister joined the Hufflepuff team in Phillip's seventh year, though the two never played in-game against one another. In his fifth year, Phillip became a Prefect, wearing the badge with pride. It had come as a surprise that someone like Phillip would be chosen as Prefect, but he was a stellar student who rarely caused any real trouble. He performed his duties with a zeal and passion unmatched by his fellow prefects, though that still did not stop him from using his prefect privileges to get out of trouble. With graduation came time for Phillip to turn towards the future. He received stellar marks on his NEWTs, and there were many departments at the ministry that extended job offers to him. In the end Phillip chose the Administrative department in the accounting office, It wasn't the most glamorous job, but Phillip had always had a knack for math and numbers. He rose quickly through the ranks of the accounting office, landing the position of Budget Officer for the Department of Magical Education just before his twenty-second birthday. It was in his early days at the Ministry that Phillip met Anastasia Illoive. The two started at the Ministry around the same time, Phillip a few weeks prior, but close enough that they bonded over finding their place at the Ministry together. Their friendship was immediate and electric, pulling them closer every day. It was like the two of them had always been best friends, though before long it became clear to Phillip that his feelings for Ana went beyond mere friendship. Terrified of ruining the relationship they had, though, Phillip actively suppressed his deeper feelings for Anastasia, focusing instead on their friendship and the moments they shared together as nothing more. At the same time as his promotion Budget Officer for the Department of Magical Education, however, Phillip's younger sister landed a spot in the Auror Training Program right out of school. It was a big accomplishment that almost immediately overshadowed Phillip's own success. Phillip and his sister had always been close, had always been closer than siblings. They were friends, and had been since they were children, but something about her promotion and the way their parents held her up as the darling Levens child, the one making big things of herself while Phillip wasted his talents in the accounting office, rubbed Phillip the wrong way, though he would never admit it, not even to himself. Phillip was at work when the Death Eaters attacked in August 2021. Though the accounting office was far removed from where most of the attack occurred, Phillip still emerged with a concussion and a split lip. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it made Phillip realize that at long last he could not remain neutral and uninvolved in the war that was swirling around him. Four days after the attack, as the world still reeled from the gruesome death of Harry Potter, Phillip approached an old schoolmate and known Order member, Claire Fernsby, about joining the Order. As the war rages around him, Phillip has found it harder and harder to find his place in it, balancing his life between work, his position in the Order, and his personal life. He has thrown himself more and more into the Order as vampire attacks and death eater movement has increased, wanting to help fight the evil he has seen begin to take over the world. In the wake of the attack on Hogsmeade, however, Phillip has found himself wondering more and more what kind of world the Order is fighting to protect, and what world will be left to protect when it's all over.
