LONG STORY SHORT: A HOOKUP
NAME UP TO RPER || ANY GENDER || 18-22 || CHINA ANNE MCCLAIN
trinity, in her effort to get over christian and the mounting guilt that came with falling in love with someone already taken, tried everything. when the more docile distraction techniques fell horribly flat, she began to seek reprise in other avenues; nights out and the occasional adrenaline rush became more her speed. this character was a lovely mix of the two.
either in her year or close to it, this character went to school with trinity and knew her as who she was then: the head girl, the quidditch captain, and hufflepuff extraordinaire. now trinity has landed a coveted position that is very much an extension of those previous roles, but the sweet-as-sugar persona has tended to falter just slightly. in my head, i imagine that these two didn't get along very well. perhaps they liked the break the rules trinity was in charge of enforcing or maybe they just didn't like her; but whatever the reason, friendship was never in the cards. but one night at a bar and some decent liquor can warp anybody's perception.

though this relationship lasted longer than the hookup, it simply wasn't ever meant to be. in another life, they likely would have made an excellent pair; i see their personalities balancing and complementing each other very well. however, trinity is in love with someone else, and maybe they are too. after a couple months of sleeping together they began to fizzle out, and have maintained a friendship since. still, there will always be the lingering question of, "what if?"

as before, this can easily be taken with a current character and story is entirely negotiable.
LONG STORY SHORT: A FORBIDDEN FLING
NAME UP TO RPER || MALE || EARLY 20s- EARLY 30s || ALEX LANDI
of all the flings, the hookups, and the past loves; this was one trinity actually saw herself being with. their relationship was forged just after graduation, before she had fallen for christian and gotten into that mess. though he was a bit older than her, that hardly mattered in the grand scheme of things. they got along beautifully, enjoyed each other's company, and he was one of the ones that pulled trinity out of the dumps post breakup. without him and christian, she likely would have been paralyzed for a few more months.
when things did turn romantic between them, it was kept very quiet. he was insistent upon privacy and though trinity didn't quite understand why, she respected it. things progressed for them simply, and for a few glorious months, it made sense.
until it didn't. after asking when they would ever be able to tell their friends, he broke it off in a note and she hasn't heard from him since. admittedly, at the time it wrecked her- another horrible breakup before she had even turned twenty seemingly without reason. unfortunately, the reason is about to come to light: he is currently in (or was) in a relationship. married, engaged, what have you- and trinity was the accidental other woman.
