personality
True to heritage on both sides of the family, Wednesday has inherited the quintessential Weasley (ie Gryffindor) traits of bravery and a strong sense to do the right thing, blended with Delacour resilience, grace, and short temper. She's a vibrant personality crammed into a tiny package, Wednesday may be small, but she will not allow herself to be ignored. Determined to the point of stubbornness, when Wed has her sights set on something, she gives it her all. A self-professed tomboy, Wednesday is generally low maintenance and likes being just one of the guys, but cleans up well when she needs to. family information
biography Everyone knows the start of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's marriage, coming together at the height of the Second Wizarding War, and their early years together at Shell Cottage aiding the Order. Following the defeat of Voldemort, the pair relocated temporarily to France to be close with Fluer's family as they began one of their own. Wednesday was born first, the eldest of what would later become three children. Right from the beginning, while she took very strongly after her mother physically, it was abundantly clear that Wednesday was definitely a Weasley. Bold (if not reckless) and brave, in an amusingly petite package, Wednesday would have much rather been climbing trees and searching ponds for frogs than playing with dolls, or taking ballet with her sister Chloé. These habits persisted throughout her childhood spent in the French countryside. Shortly after the youngest, and only boy, of the family was born, the family relocated to England just before Wednesday's eighth birthday, so the children could attend school with their cousins rather than going to Beauxbatons. At no surprise to anyone, Wednesday received her letter, and upheld the longstanding Weasley tradition of being sorted into Gryffindor. Prowess at Quidditch, and a subtle veela charm she never really learned to control, paired with family legacy made it easy for her to make friends. Her penchant for trouble and nasty temper, however, made her not the best of students- Wednesday disregarded grades to instead focus on Quidditch, and later, romance (though she never found much success at it). She graduated with modest marks, getting recruited by the Magpies as a reserve. While not what she was hoping for, Wednesday took the slot regardless, awaiting an opening on the roster for her time to shine. The world, to her, seemed alright despite the mounting tensions, but the unfair treatment of halfbreeds was something that spoke deeply to her, having first hand experience on what it was like to be dismissed, not taken seriously, treated as a sexual object rather than a person, due to her ancestry. When a member of the Children of the Moon extended the offer to join, Wednesday accepted, breaking Weasley tradition of joining the Order, mere weeks before Death's release from the Room of Requirement and subsequent attack on the Gryffindor tower. More tragedy was quick to follow, the kidnapping and eventual murder of her uncle (and abduction of her cousin) during the Quidditch World Cup last summer shook Wednesday to her core. Following the horrific conclusion of the season, one of the beaters resigned, granting Wednesday the position she wanted, but at terrible cost. They tried to carry on the best they could, only for the proverbial rug to be ripped from under their feet when Hogsmeade fell under attack in April. The Potters, Weasleys, and Weasley-Grangers were dealt multiple heavy losses in the fray. Wednesday survived the ordeal, and is now left to pick up the pieces once more, to resume the fight to save what's left of her world.
