seraphina's mother is a veela, and a veela with very strong magic at that. this magic has been passed (in part) to seraphina, who with potent charm and fierce temper hasn't had a difficult time frustrating some in her path. nonetheless, she's a passionate woman quite proud of her halfbreed status; she refuses to let the ignorance of some get in her way.
this person's family are either pureblood elitists, halfbreed hunters, or both- and have been after seraphina's family after their veela status was revealed to them. her mother and father live in a heavily warded manor in the countryside of france, and are nearly untouchable- but seraphina, not so much. with every intention to finish the job that their family began, and perhaps with bitterness from being lulled by seraphina's charm a few times before, this personal has made it their mission to see her to the ground.
so far, they have clearly failed, despite the two having a few volatile altercations. but after finding seraphina in london, their paths cross again; and no one can win forever.
the hope is for this to blossom into something like romance. hatred and attraction can toe a thin line, and with seraphina's charm in the mix, there is a confusing mess of emotions thrown around between the two. tension can erupt in multiple ways, after all. eventually, the plan is for them to reach an understanding. but with the amount of history behind them: the road is far from short.
