Juniper Laurent loved Harold Thomas deeply, but Harold was never a man who could reciprocate those feelings. She adored him, but to him she was just another woman he could go to for affection and attention. He was careful, never revealing his magic to her, but none of that would have mattered to Juniper in the slightest.
Though he didn't mean to, two sons came of his relationship with the muggle woman. Harold provided for Juniper and their children as best he could, though it was not meant to last. When someone younger, more attractive, without children, came along, Harold left and never looked back.
But that was almost twenty-six years ago. Harold Thomas is a changed man, for whatever reason that may be. He has decided to track down his former lover and her children to make amends. He has finally contacted his youngest son Blaise through his mother to get back in touch with him and finally be the father he never was.
Harold Thomas is a wizard, of halfblood or pureblood lineage. What he has been doing with his life for the past twenty-five years or so is unknown, and Blaise and his older brother Romeo don't even know that they have a magical father. As far as they know they are muggleborns, though that is about to change.
