biography Madeline Greta Hewitt was born as the second child to Anneke and Benjamin Hewitt, three years after their oldest son was born. with the small age difference between the the two siblings, they had always been close. Madeline always looked up to Richard, but was also happy that she wasn't the heir of the family. she was raised to be the perfect pureblood daughter, and has always acted along those lines. she never worried about it too much really, as her parents were at least not as strict as many pureblood parents seemed to be. the only things they wanted for her was to marry a pureblood to continue the family line. it was a couple of weeks before her sixteenth birthday when she went to see one of the premiers of the ballet company that had been in their family for as long as people could remember. during one of the breaks she had a quick talk with the eldest Shafiq son, who immediately captured her heart. they seemed like a match made in heaven and Madeline enjoyed the small moments they had sneaking away from the pureblood gatherings where they bumped into each other more than she enjoyed anything. it was a couple of weeks after her seventeenth birthday that they started to officially date each other. Madeline always thought both of their parents would agree to a marital union between the two of them, and she was disappointed when the opposite seemed to be true. heartbroken even, when it was revealed the Shafiq's already had another candidate to marry their son. but then Madeline got pregnant at the age of twenty and the two of them were rushed into a marriage completely willingly. Avalon was born seven months after the wedding, the perfect child to bless their perfect marriage. Madeline seemed to be a natural when it came to motherhood. Marcella followed four years later and their first son Dominick was born five years after that. the love between Maddie and her husband always seemed unconditional, but the last couple of years and recent events have put pressure on the couple, leaving Madeline to question whether they made the wrong choice all those years ago. their lives seem to be increasingly separated from each other, with her husband focusing on his work and Madeline always with her mind on the kids. she often feels like he doesn't even see her anymore, no matter how hard she tries to show him she still loves him.
