biography As one of seven children who grew up in Guatemala, Hector has long since given up on leading a completely normal life. In his youth, he was known to be responsible and had his sights on making sure that his younger siblings and his family were safe and completely content with the lives they were leading. Unfortunately, not all of Hector's siblings inherited the magical genes from their Muggle parents and only he and his youngest sister are the only ones who ended up magical despite the slim odds. Still, despite the fact that he had something that made him different, Hector never acted as such and was always known as charismatic and charming, an interesting person that people always found themselves to be fond of almost immediately upon meeting him. He's never been known to brag or be any sort of petty or narcissistic, thusly sending him through school with flying colors and an impeccable reputation. The young male graduated without a hindrance, which enabled him to receive multiple offers as he figured out what sort of career he wanted to pursue now that he was done with school, though he figured he would do something vaguely interesting. At the age of nineteen, Hector left his home in Guatemala in a sort of last hurrah before he settled in London and into a cushy job at the Ministry for Magic, and took off to Greece, exploring the country and getting to know the culture and the people. While in Greece running a small scam, however, Hector came across a man who was able to see through his tactics and offered to assist even though he insisted that nothing was wrong with how he was running things on his own. Hector begrudginly allowed the man, who he found out was named Aryan, to assist him in running the con and he found out quickly that the pair of them made a good team — better than Hector alone, who had an obvious tell when it came to trying to scam people. The two travelled Europe together for a few months, which prompted Hector to realize that he wasn't actually interested in a desk job at the Ministry, he wanted to explore the world and discover new things — which led into his career as wizarding archaeologist as opposed to an Unspeakable. While it likely would have been more lucrative for him to work with the Ministry, Hector ended up positively smitten with the Aryan, the man who had helped him before and it was quickly becoming a problem... Or so he thought. Luckily for Hector, however, the feeling was mutual and they ended up travelling to Greece where after only a short while, the pair of them ended up engaged and married while on a dig in Brasil. Now, the pair of them travel the world together, going on archaeological digs and steal money from unsuspecting citizens... Always having a good laugh about it later.
