biography the youngest dawlish child had always been the black sheep of the family. she was closer in age to her sister than her brother was, but it seemed like the two of them were always much closer than maeve was to either of them. still, the relationship she had with both of them was good in her younger years, even if she was quite different from the two of them. or the rest of the family for that matter. maybe in a sense, she was more like their father than the rest of the siblings. at a young age already, maeve enjoyed theatre and acting. she would always try to persuade wesley and dinah to participate in her plays and she always dreamt of becoming an actress. she got a rush from performing and enjoyed the attention more than anything. upon attending hogwarts, she was sorted into gryffindor, which was another way in which she was set apart from her siblings who were both in ravenclaw. she was a bright young witch, but as she got older she never felt the need to focus on her studies so much. during classes she was always more busy playing a part, entertaining everyone because it gave her the same rush that performing and acting did when she was younger. still, she dreamt of becoming an actress, but that dream was crushed when her family told her she needed to keep a low profile because of their father. just like her other siblings, she was told by her mother at a young age that she had a different blood status than everyone assumed. but maeve never realized that it would crush the dreams she had for herself. she had never even known her father, only being one when he was taken to azkeban. it didn’t keep her from causing any sorts of scenes at hogwarts, but her wild spirit was calmed down a little when she got into a relationship with someone she knew from hogwarts. eventually though, she realized that she couldn’t keep a low profile like her siblings could and she couldn’t be in a relationship with someone who couldn’t love her with wild spirit and all. maeve dawlish had never been good at hiding herself, but still she made a career out of hiding her true self to deceive others. being a con artist only came natural to her, allowing her to deceive and manipulate anyone she wanted by just putting up an act. much to the dislike of her siblings, maeve was even getting famous for her shenanigans. maybe one day she could be a real actress.
