biography born the second child to henare and samaria lennox, there was never a moment that nalani eliana was not the explosive one of the lennox siblings. a stark contrast to her brother kai and her sister to follow, nalani was a risk taker nearly as soon as she could crawl; whether it stemmed from her need to be moving or her desire to break rules was up to interpretation. the difference in personality between her and kai was the catalyst of innumerable quarrels in their youth, a trait that has continued even into adulthood. her meteoric energy made her quite the handful as a child in more ways than one, so when the sorting hat resolutely placed her in gryffindor it came to no one’s surprise. unsurprisingly, too; the lion house was where the young firecracker thrived. though she never excelled at academics based on intelligence alone, her competitive nature when it came to one-upping her siblings was enough to push her into marks slightly above average. nalani’s skills, however, lied primarily in the social aspects; she was more inclined to sneak out of the tower at night than to study astronomy. late night lake visits were much more her speed, and though she had a few close calls, there weren’t incidents too severe to keep her from her place on the gryffindor quidditch team when the time came. her ambitious nature made the hobby only natural, and though she wasn’t in love with the sport, it was a much needed way to expel her energy. without as firm a path as some of her classmates, upon graduation nalani ended up finding her place in a bartending position at the leaky cauldron with the help of her brother. the first few years were thus filled with interesting patrons and captivating stories, neither of which nalani would complain about. with her days spent exploring, evenings spent bartending, and weekends spent creating her own stories to tell- nalani was invigorated. whether it was adventures abroad or late night rendezvous within london’s walls she, for a time, had no issue quelling her need for adventure. the only time her life slows is during the days encircling a full moon- her halfbreed status a sense of pride, but not one she takes lightly. it was the gringott’s help wanted ad that did her in, really. after a few good years at the tavern, that itch for spontaneity kicked in, and she applied for a position within the bank. though a teller or vault operator would have bored her half to death, the idea of playing with danger was just up her alley. within a few weeks, she had interviewed for and landed the position of dragon feeder. somehow in that time she hadn’t managed to quit her job at the leaky cauldron, but with her time there coming to a close she bid goodbye before settling in on her next adventure. since then, not much about nalani has changed aside from her day-to-day. with a position that excites her and no desire to slow down the life outside of work that she had forged before, nalani steps through life with a certain confidence. a proud member of the children of the moon with no intentions to back down in the face of the impending conflict, she is hungry for change and resolute in her opinion that life is only what you make of it. thus, she will make it worth her time.
