biography Grayson was raised in a classic wizarding family, to put it simply. Both her parents attended the prestigious academy when they came of age, and both were placed in the house of Gryffindor. Their families knew each other growing up, and it wasn’t until both had graduated the school that any sort of relationship was actually forged. She quite loved her own older brother, Theodore, and was quite disappointed when he went off to Hogwarts, but took solace in the fact that she would be able to head there herself one day. She was always quite a pensive child and didn't take much to heart which explains why she wasn't too shaken when she accidentally witnessed a death at the age of 10. She had been out and about, exploring as she did quite frequently. She was on the outskirts of a small grove when she saw the death of a man at the hands of another man, although the second seemed to be quite disturbed. She was the sole witness and proved to be an invaluable asset in the investigation and it resulted in the man being arrested and sent to Azkaban. This was also when she discovered the existence of Thestrals. Soon after, she was off to Hogwarts and was the first of her immediate family to not be sorted into Gryffindor. There was no disappointment, however, and her parents knew she would be a great student and have an amazing future ahead of her, regardless of her house. She was ecstatic to be back with her brother and came to be a good student in her own right.
