biography Gideon Jacob Raymon was born as the first child of Uriela and Aurelius Raymon. a Jewish name, obviously the choice of his mother and her heritage, meaning "Great Warrior", giving strength to their first born son. ever since he was little, Gideon has been the golden boy of the family. he was the pride and joy of the young Raymon couple until his sister was born five years later. but even after, Gideon didn't desire anything he didn't had, at least when it came to materialistic things. as a young boy he was very sensitive and emotional and while he always felt the love and care he received from his mother, he always knew something was missing in his relationship with his father. while he continued to be quite emotional deep down, it seemed like Gideon learnt how to keep it down there as he grew older. upon starting Hogwarts, he was sorted into slytherin and became friends with a group of pureblood boys who came from the exact same families as he did, being more exposed to pureblood values than ever before. he did good in school, not exceptionally, but fine, and upon graduating, he pursued a career at the Ministry of Magic. as a teenager, he got more pulled to the Dark Arts as well, mostly through the influence of his father. he seemed to have a talent for it more than for any kind of magic. it made him grow closer to his father, distancing himself from his mother, unlike the relationships he had had with his parents when he was younger. at the age of twenty-one, he was arranged to marry Zinnia Helene Parkinson, a few months after she graduated from Hogwarts. Gideon always knew he would marry a woman his parents chose, but honestly didn't pay much value to marriage at all. his marriage was off to a rocky start, the two of them mostly living their lives apart from each other, instead of with each other. but this changed when they had their daughter about two years later. Aurelie Celeste Raymon was named after her grandfather, and just like the meaning of her name, Aurelie was truly "the Golden One" around the Raymon house. her sunshine seemed to light a spark between Gideon and Zinnia, who grew to love each other more and more every single day. despite the influence of his father, Gideon has not yet joined the Death Eaters, but is a fierce supporter nevertheless. two years ago he was about to officially become a member, but when his daughter was born he decided it was safer for his wife and daughter if he didn't join.
