biography If Ransom knew that he was the true heir to the Flint family fortune, he likely would have taken a different route in life. However, with Kieran being the first-born, and with no knowledge of his true parentage, Ransom has spent his life more than content to be the second son. Very little weight sits on his shoulders, and it has been that way since he was a little boy. From an early age, Ransom was constantly on the move. He got his first broom when he was 5, and was attached to it in the same way his sisters were attached to their dolls. It became obvious, what his career was going to be, and his family never tried to discourage him from it. Kieran was the one who had to be professional, who had to get married quick - Ransom knew that he'd be able to get out of any of his responsibilities as a Pureblood man with ease. At Hogwarts, he quickly rose to popularity for his name and prowess with Quidditch. He was the average hot-shot Slytherin - though, he learned to keep his nastier tendencies to himself. If he was to be a professional star, he had to keep a squeaky-clean image. So, when he was recruited by the Death Eaters and Marked shortly after his seventeenth birthday, it became important to hide it. There are plenty within the ranks who don't know he's one of them - due to his fame, Ransom has insisted staying out of the spotlight, disguising himself and going by a false name during Death Eater events. He joined the Wimbourne Wasps as a walk-on immediately after school, and has risen to fame as one of the great beaters of his generation.
