biography Clara, the baby of the family, was born about an hour following her elder twin, Cora. She became the youngest Simms daughter of four, following Casey, seven years her elder, Caroline, four years her elder, and her aforementioned twin. As the daughter of Amelia and Atticus Simms, the girls were raised with a healthy blend of the magical and muggle worlds. Her parents explained to her the magical aspects of her blood, but emphasized the importance of her muggle background, her parents both being muggle-borns themselves. For the first ten years of her life, Clara's father, Atticus, worked in the Magical Menagerie while her mother, Amelia, wrangled four sometimes wild and certainly energetic daughters. As the family's youngest, Clara harbored acting skills when she was very little. She was always prone to exaggeration, but her parents were always quick to come to her rescue regardless. Having four young girls under one roof often led to catty fights and the youngest always insisted she was blameless. Still, through it all, Clara's tendencies towards the melodramatic and her ability to cry at the drop of a hat made her drawn towards theater, but she knew she would receive a magical education that meant putting those dreams of becoming a famous actress aside, for the time being, to get a proper education. She might have convinced her parents to let her pursue acting school instead of Hogwarts if it weren't for the position they were offered when she was ten with just a year before she would start her time as a Gryffindor. Her mother and father were to become co-professors of Muggle Studies, a course Clara knew she would have no trouble in (and had decided not to take). The young girl decided not to raise the issue of not particularly desiring to attend the school, and was sorted into Gryffindor with her twin when they arrived as little eleven-year-olds. Though she had been reluctant, Hogwarts allowed Clara to grow and thrive. When the school decided to add a theatre program, she was one of the first to sign up, and she gave all of her passion to it. She was more than a half-decent witch, courtesy of her parents, but her love and her personality belonged on stage. It was entirely Clara's intention, once she graduated Hogwarts, to join one musical or another, working her way up the ladder until she became a big international star all over the world - both muggle children and wizarding children alike would know who she was. Alas, Clara never graduated. Nor would she ever graduate or make it to the big screen. March of 2021 will be a month the Simms family remembers with extreme pain. When three Death Eaters released the being that would attack Gryffindor tower, no one new so much damage would be done. Clara was the first student Death killed. She would never leave Hogwarts. She would never become an actress. She would never be alive again. Clara's bitterness and inability to get past those things left her walking the earth still, but not as a living being. She could no longer perform magic, couldn't really act - at least, not in the muggle world. Clara had become a ghost. Nothing more than a cold, pale silver figure. She knows her family harbors some gratitude that they can still be with her in her afterlife, but the youngest girl finds it incredibly difficult to be around them sometimes as they grieve her, because she knows that one day, they will get past it.
