biography Marcus and Louise Flint were married just out of Hogwarts, the two of them inheriting the Flint fortune and becoming the rich, powerful couple they were always meant to be. They welcomed their first son not long after their marriage, making their perfect pureblood family complete. Kieran Jaymes Flint is everything people expect of the eldest son of an ancient Pureblood family; the world has always rested at his feet. Anything he wanted, anything, was given to him on a silver platter—sometimes literally. He grew up spoiled and pampered, and it shows in his entire demeanor. Kieran is the eldest of five children, the silver prince of the Flint family, and has been treated as such since the day he was born. His parents had been gifted with a son to carry on their family name, and even after having two more sons and two daughters, their obvious favorite remained in their eldest Kieran's magic manifested early in his life. He made an entire collection of antique glass vases explode in a tantrum at the age of six. At Hogwarts, he was sorted almost immediately into Slytherin. He was the most Slytherin of all the Slytherins, ambitious and cutthroated, unable to let anything stand between him and what he wanted. He got into many a fight because of that ambition. Two years after graduating from Hogwarts, Kieran became engaged to Adella Selwyn, the eldest daughter of the Selwyn family. Kieran had never particularly cared or thought about settling down, for he knew his parents would inevitably find him a good, proper Pureblood that would become his wife. They found that proper Pureblood in Adella Selwyn. The two were betrothed for the better part of three years. At last they had a beautiful, luxurious wedding, said to be the wedding of the century, at least until the Zabini-Knight wedding three years later. It wasn't every day that two of the biggest Pureblood families were united in matrimony. With some of the (rather large) inheritance Kieran had gotten from his grandfather a few years prior, Kieran bought them a large house in Cherry Bastille. Now all that was missing from their perfect Pureblood life was children. Kieran joined the Department of Mysteries shortly after he graduated from Hogwarts, rising through the ranks to the Head of the department. He relished the power it afforded him, though when he wife got a job in the Minister's Office, his closely-relished power began to slip away.
