biography Eliza and Jonathon’s relationship was tumultuous right from the very beginning. Born into a strict pureblood family, Jonathon was ripped in two at the thought of being with a halfblood, but married Eliza against his parents’ wishes. While being cast away from the rest of the Ramsey family could have brought the couple closer together, it only cause Jonathon’s anger and resentment to grow. He hit Eliza for the first time when she was pregnant with Felix. Felix’s birth was a breath of fresh air to Eliza, who had started to doubt there was another life besides one of misery. Felix grew up as Mommy’s boy, but his father was no doubt in charge of the family. Though he never experienced physical abuse himself, the way his mother was treated cast a cloud over Felix’s childhood. Jonathon was also quite strict with Felix, forcing him into masculine roles even when the boy would have rather played with dolls. By the time he was accepted into Hogwarts, Felix was a pretty angry child. He was sorted into Gryffindor, which always seemed ironic to him, as he could never stand up to his father. Felix spent his school years in and out of detention, usually for getting into fights with other students. Sometimes he was the instigator, other times not, but he grew to be quite proficient at fights both with his fists and later, with his wand. Felix’s marks were poor, largely from lack of effort, as he was always more worried about his mother and the multiple jobs he was holding down to send her money. Felix stashed away money as much as he could. At Christmas during his seventh year, hit wizards were called to the Ramsey household. Eliza and Felix’s stories were perfectly aligned and it was written up as a tragic accident. The two held a quiet funeral for Jonathon and promptly moved out of the house. It is the one story Felix has never told a soul. Felix had been dating a girl named Sephie on and off throughout their seventh year, but finally found a situation that worked for both of them near graduation. Felix had never been great at sticking to a relationship, but it turned out that Sephie didn’t want to be exclusive either. When they found out that Sephie was pregnant, Felix’s mother convinced the him to propose. They were married and moved in together before their child was born. One of Felix’s early jobs had been at the dragon sanctuary and he found himself drawn to the place after graduation. He had befriended Benji Hayes at that point and secured a desk job where he’s floated by ever since. In Felix’s mid-twenties, his mother fell ill with a rather unknown magical disease. She spent several months in St. Mungo’s before she finally passed, much to Felix’s dismay. He spent years working through her passing with several partners, but has finally been able to remember his mother fondly.
