personality
a Holy Bible with a spine cracked from use, silver pendants worn so often the edges start to tarnish, pure unadultered marble, worn-out shoes, the spark of a match, hand-blown glass, unsteady handwriting, a pinprick of blood on the tip of the finger, an axe chopping a noose in half, the perfect tip of an arrow notched on a bow, a cool moonlit lake family information
biography Born Wymark Isolda Scullion in 1317, on what was the stormiest night of the Autumn, Felicity's birth into the world was an omen for the life ahead of her. Her family was incredibly poor, with her father nothing but the lowliest of kitchen workers. Oftentimes, the Scullion family went hungry, for there wasn't enough money to keep both food on the table and shelter over their heads. Felicity only had the clothes she wore every day. She and her sister were the only two children of a total of fourteen pregnancies to be born and live past a few months. Both girls never learned how to read or write, as education was only for the wealthy and prestigious men and the lucky women on their arms. Wymark and Agnes didn't fall into that category. Ever since she was little, Felicity got odd feelings, premonitions, and headaches. She'd recount a funny dream she had about something happening, only for the event to happen days or weeks later. Eventually, Hugo caught on to his daughter's uncanny ability, and he began to sell her as a fortune teller around their poor little town to bring the family extra money. He'd grow angry at her when she couldn't produce a fortune on command, or See something when he asked, but enough of her premonitions came true when she was young to make her believable. It wasn't until the age of eleven did she discover what she was. Back in the days where being convicted of witchcraft meant death, there was a more subtle way to go about the process. She was approached by a witch much older than her, much wealthier, who told her what she was. Under the guise of being hired by this woman, Felicity attended Durmstrang to learn more about the powers within her she didn't know she had. Schooling was...difficult, to say the least. She had to start from scratch--learning how to read and write and all of that before she could fully learn magic. Felicity took to Divination like a moth to flame, and the teacher quickly figured out why--Felicity was revealed to be a Seer. It explained why her predictions were eerily accurate when she was home. Overjoyed to be educated and beyond the bonds of her peasant muggle living, Felicity lounged in the new life as a witch until one day, a troubling prophecy came to her. The black plague was starting its devastating sweep across Europe. It would kill her family, as well as countless others in her home village. At thirty, Felicity felt she had lived far too short of a life to have it snatched from her only now. Magic had solved so much of the ailments that had befallen her playmates. She no longer scrounged for food, fought for clothing or clean water, nor worried about being sold into marriage. She had this new ability to produce magic, and she could read and write, too, something she never even dreamed possible for herself. So, when a Vampire offered her immortality in exchange for a prophecy, she agreed. Turning was a painful, complicated process. Felicity was almost worried she wouldn't make it through, but she did. When she came out of her mortal shell and stepped into immortal life, a lethal confidence boost shot to her head. When her sire expected her undivided obedience and loyalty, she killed him. She felt she had spent far too much of her life serving under the orders of others. For centuries, she has stayed off the radar, lying low and changing her name with every lifetime that passes. Now, she has reappeared in England using the name Felicity Morrow. This time, she doesn't have plans to just let life pass. She wants power, she wants to lead, and she's tired of being a mere slave to the Children's leader.
