biography anastasia’s parents grew up in the muggle world with no knowledge of the wizarding world. not one bit. they raised their family in a small town to the south of paris, dignified and rather socially active. they gave birth to a son and a daughter, 29 and 27 respectively, before having another girl five years later. their children were raised trilingual, learning french, german, and english to give them the best foot forward when they came of age. the birth of their final daughter was when the parents were thrown into the world of witches and wizards. from a young age, anastasia was always...different. she was able to cause unexplainable things, she had an odd interest in owls, and she never really fit in as ‘normal’. the two chose to explain it in their own ways, citing her creativity or peculiarity as untapped talent. in some ways, they were right. soon they were approached by a man from beauxbatons, and despite being skeptical, decided to hear him out. a few demonstrations of magic seemed to sell them. by the age of eleven anastasia was on her way to attend beauxbatons, the french school of magic. when participating in the choosing ceremony, her arrow erupted into a brilliant purple, thus placing the newfound witch into papillonlisse. her time in the school was anything but terrible. she absolutely flourished, showing a talent in magic that surprised some fixated on her muggleborn status. anastasia even became prefect when she came of age, serving the school with that charming smile on her lips that soon became what she was known for. moving to london, however, was a different story. yes there was tension at beauxbatons, it was natural. anastasia was familiar with the way a rare amount of people saw people of her status. but upon moving to london to join the ministry, she soon found that tensions here seemed to be much higher. it was off putting, to say the least, especially for a girl who didn’t understand the discrimination in the first place. but she simply used it to fuel her fire, joining the ministry and working her way up the ranks to get where she is today.
