personality
A true middle child in the typical sense of the word, Josie is a quiet peacekeeper- a natural at mediating arguments and just wanting everyone to be happy. That is not to say that she's a complete pushover, she may say "yes" more often than she would like, but she knows how to stand up for herself when it's important. Infused with the quintessential Gryffindor courage from her famous parents, Josie is almost always willing to go on that next adventure, but at times her anxiety and clumsiness hold her back. family information
biography Born the middle of the Potter children, Josie found herself thrust into the spotlight from a young age- try as her parents might to shield their kids from the prying public eye. Regardless of the curiosity surrounding the offspring of the Chosen One, Josie and her elder sister and younger brother managed to have a mostly normal childhood, as far as wizarding families go. She found herself slightly different from her prodigious parents- for starters Josie was, and remains, dead clumsy and petrified of heights, making her ill-suited to follow in the footsteps of her parents or older sister into Quidditch when she made it to school. Despite being sorted into Gryffindor the same as her siblings and the majority of her extended family, Josie struggled with finding a place where she belonged that wasn't merely out of obligation due to her father's status. She struggled in most all subjects, her terrible marks often being a source of disappointment from her parents- who assumed she often was too busy doodling instead of taking notes. It was her third year when things started to fall into place with the addition of Divination classes. Josie found that some of the art she had made over the years corresponded to future events, though often in a confusing, roundabout way. But it seemed that the otherwise unremarkable Potter child had something of a gift after all. As she progressed through puberty the gift began making its presence more known, though no less cryptic or mysterious- vivid dreams followed with head-splitting migraines began to pop up out of nowhere, symbolism sneaking its way into her drawings and paintings. Following the attack on Gryffindor tower Josie's migraines have become more frequent, though it remains to be seen just how far her Sight goes. She is hesitantly proceeding toward the end of her sixth year, keeping close to her family, and continually glancing behind her shoulder.
