His parents, having two young boys, tried to stay out of the conflict, laying low. Truly, Blake didn't know much about it until he went to attend Hogwarts. Having been sorted into Gryffindor, he felt a lot of pressure to become some great hero or to be, as he put it, "courageous and stupid". That simply wasn't who he was. He did well enough in school, thinking himself a middle of the road student, slightly above average. Nothing terribly brilliant or special. In his later years, he found himself recruited and in the same circles as many former Death Eaters and new ones, too who were building the alliance in secret. He didn't agree with everything they believed, but the premise of the organization intrigued him, and so he joined their ranks. RP SAMPLE Excused.
