the harsh cold a winter night brings, a door slammed and shaking wall fixtures, a knife thrusted into splintering woods, the candlelight burning from a night of work, pencil shavings littering a filled deskspace, a chest secured with a hefty lock, a match gone ablaze in a room filled with darkness family information
biography born liliana ann abernathy, liliana grew up in a family neutral to the passing conflicts. that left the young woman to navigate that for herself, and she spent most of her time at hogwarts attempting to do so. like her parents, she found herself remaining neutral; though she wasn’t nearly as vocal about her views as them. after she left hogwarts, liliana began to explore the wizarding worlds in an attempt to discover her passion. during her travels she came upon a young male, a man who said he held the same beliefs. kieran joyce, a former slytherin and quite the charmer. the two ended up pursuing a relationship, one that led to them being wed and the birth of aelizia. only when liliana was pregnant with aelizia did she learn of kieran’s affiliation with the death eaters. appalled and frightened, she pleaded for him to sever ties. not only for her, but for the safety of their unborn child. he promised to do so, and the matter was dropped. they began to raise their young daughter as if nothing had transpired. in fact, aelizia was nearly eight years old when her mother discovered that kieran had not made well on his promise. she threatened to go to the department of magical law enforcement, and their daughter came home to a mother dead from an apparent heart attack. it would be years later that the young woman learned the truth. aelizia attended hogwarts when she came of age, placed in the gryffindor house and not ignorant to the tension that continued to mount around her. like her mother before her, she found herself entranced by a male gryffindor who preached his loyalty to no side. they dated for years, her hopelessly in love with him. until he decided it was time to introduce her to his world, the world of hatred against the unpure and violence to no end. all at once her world came crashing down at her feet. she gained knowledge of her father’s dark secret, his affiliation with the death eaters and the man she loved being loyal to them as well. disgusted and unsure of who she even was anymore aelizia simply fled, settling back in britain with a new hatred for the life her /former/ family had led. she closed herself off, pushing away anyone who tried to get close in an attempt to protect herself from feeling that pain ever again.
