biography melody hails from a line of old magical blood, tracing back as purebloods for generations on end. about three generations before melody was born the pure magic began to wane, and melody's father was born without magic as his father before him. he didn't take it much to heart, however, and embraced the muggle life with a passionate vigor. when jaec was entering university he met colleen, a muggle with an optimistic view on life. quickly he fell, and they began to embark on several dates that eventually let to a long term relationship. a year or so after colleen graduated, two years after jaec did, the two decided to make things official and wed. they moved to a french town in the middle of their two hometowns and embarked on their life together, devoid of magic as expected. that was, until colleen became pregnant with twins. it was unexpected, thrilling, and a time of much anticipation for the young parents as they scrambled to make their young cottage home enough for four. in may of 1997 colleen gave birth to two wonderfully healthy children, melody rose and her twin brother christopher verier. for years, the four lived peacefully as muggles. around the age of four, melody began to show signs of something that jaec knew only from stories from his grandparents. though thrilled, the muggle parents were unsure how to deal with a magical child. melody connected with another wizard boy about her age, toulouse orville lovett. the two became very close friends, and soon melody began to learn all she could about the wizarding world. her parents began to teach themselves as well, making it their mission to help their daughter the best they good without growing up in the wizarding world. unfortunately, when melody enrolled in beauxbatons, her and toulouse were forced to separate. though admittedly overwhelming, melody quite enjoyed her first year in the bellefuille house. the young witch found a knack for a few different magical skills quite quickly, though she also found some people didn't take too kindly to her non-magical parents. despite this, she found herself thriving. in melody's sixth year, just before winter break, she was called to the headmaster's office. it was there she was informed that, in a freak accident with little to no explanation, her parents and twin brother were found dead in their cottage outside the city of paris. melody's distant relatives attributed what they beleived to be murders to a elitist quarrel, but such information was never proven. melody was absolutely devastated, spending the next two years traveling from foster home to foster home when she wasn't in school. though she tried to move on, she found she simply couldn't without a major change. as such, she moved to london following graduation. since arriving in the hub of the wizarding world, melody has worked at the three broomsticks. it has done wonders in regards to her english, and the witch has found herself forging a life she didn't think after sixth year was possible. though she has been in the city for approximately five years, her accent still remains softly behind her words. since the incident she has kept her blood status mostly secret, and simply moved on with the past being just that. RP SAMPLE as his body became limp and lifeless before her eyes she let out a heartbroken scream, one that reverberated through each hall of the ancient castle. the scream pierced the winter morning like the sounds of a village raid did years before. it flew through the cobbled houses surrounding the castle, onto the meadows and out the boundaries of the humble kingdom in which they resided. the first cries were undoubtedly horror, but not the hollow cries of a frightened girl, the cries of one with eyes locked on a living nightmare. the next scream was of sorrow, muffled and low. the world seemed to become a slow-motion blur as tears filled her eyes and she was pried from the scene, held back by a few waitstaff as warm blood ran down her legs. her heart was broken into an unfixable amount of pieces and her engagement ring felt like frozen, heavy iron. weighing her down as she sunk into her bedroom floor as if sucked down by an inescapable tar. | miscellaneous  WAND INFO: Wand Wood: rowan Wand Core: phoenix feather Wand Length: 11 inches CHARACTER STRENGTHS:
