History: Jessamine, like so many of Fenrir's victims, was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. She had been employed at the Ministry, a Wizengamot during one of Fenrir's trials. She had been particularly hard on him in her ruling, and when he broke out, he sought her out. Unlike many of Fenrir's victims, however, Jessamine survived her encounter, though she was unfortunately bearing a child. The woman was convinced by her boyfriend at the time, Oliver, to keep the baby. Archibald was, from that moment, the blessing that their family needed. The two young parents bonded over their infant son, despite him not being blood-related to Oliver. He was, in some way, both parents first love - Oliver adored him for coming from Jessamine, and Jessamine loved him for the symbol he was of hope in difficult, life changing times.

Archie was not the oldest by any means. Oliver had been married once before, with children of his own. He was, however, the only halfbreed of the bunch. He was raised to be tolerant of others, alongside his siblings - his halfbreed status did not make any difference for them. Unfortunately, Archie was not told just how hard it could get. Upon being Sorted into Hufflepuff at Hogwarts, he experienced those in the world who would shun him.

He was proud to be different, up until that point, and didn't see the harm in being open about it. The moment he said it aloud, it spread like wildfire... it was only a miracle that they never learned who his father was.

Archie has suffered his fair share of torment from school bullies, but he has a higher tolerance for it now. He is not as sunny and optimistic as he used to be, having hardened around the edges to protect himself. He doesn't tell people about being half-werewolf, though the whispering around the school does an excellent job of keeping him under scrutiny.
