Welcome to Believe in the Magic. We are a future HP role-play site that is set in the year 2101. BitM is an Non-Canon site. All characters are original characters made up by you; the roleplayer. BitM offers up various positions to be filled by both Hogwart students and Wizarding Adults including Headmaster/Headmistress of Hogwarts, Minister of Magic, Professor Aides, Shop Owners, etc.
Various events will also be held upon the site such as Masquerade Balls, Yule Balls, and random House Parties. There will also be random accidents that will befall the students via PM from the Admins (such as saying you fell down the stairs and now you have to go to the Hospital Wing to start a thread) just to keep the board lively and active with some fun.
Lectures are expected to be held by those who are taking on a Hogwarts Professor. How lectures will be held will solely be up to the digression of the Professor. For example; some Professors may group First and Second years together for lecture, Third and Fourth years together for lecture, Fifth and Sixth years for lecture, and Seventh years by themselves for lecture. Or they may choose to put up seven different threads; one for each year to attend with their own specific year.
In terms of Prefects & Heads, expect a good deal of responsibility dealt upon you. Prefects and Heads will be expected to patrol the corridors on assigned nights together at least once a month in a thread. Prefects and Heads will also be responsible for tutoring younger years if need as well as organizing Dances, 7th year Graduations, Bonfires, and other events throughout the school year.
Members are encouraged to come up with their own individual mini-plots for their characters to keep the site interesting and feisty.
