How had everything gone so terribly wrong? That is still the question on everyone’s

mind. It has been two months since Sebastian Morgenstern got away, taking Clary

with him. Jace is trying every way possible to find some way to contact her, but he

is restricted by the Clave. Having no choice but to obey, he has been ordered to

stay in the New York institute until the Silent Brothers can figure out what consequences

may come from him being struck with the Angelic Sword.



Jocelyn has once again severed ties with Idres. If they will not help her find her

daughter, she will find another way. She is not nor has she ever been defenseless.

All those who have owed her favors over the years, well, it is time to call them in.

Sebastian grows stronger every day, and God only knows what he is putting Clary

through. The last anyone knew he was trying to force her to drink from the Mortal

Cup. Determination has taken Jocelyn on a headlong journal where she will come head

to head with some of Valentines greatest enemies and his greatest supporters.



Idres is handling the situation their own way. They have doubts on the sincerity when it

cmes to Clary Fray. Three of the institutes have been attacked, leaving massive causalities.

Los Angeles—a complete loss. No one can identify who is the leader behind the attacks,

although, many suspect Sebastian, and perhaps Clary. To pacify the New York Institute

and those who are close to Clary, the Clave has dispatched two of their top investigators.



With war knocking down their door again, what will happen to the Shadow World and
