A long hallway with large windows looking out over the school grounds. It has one of the best views in the castle, save from the towers. Prefects frequent this hall given the Gryffindor House's tendency to sneak out after hours.

A secret room down the hall from the Gryffindor common room hidden behind a tapestry of Barnabus the Barmy teaching trolls ballet. One must walk past it three times, thinking of what they need, and the room will show itself, becoming whatever the person desires.

Where those of Gryffindor House reside. The common room is protected by a portrait of The Fat Lady who supplies a password. Once the password is uttered, the portrait moves to reveal a large hole in the wall.
