Werewolves Against Maltreatment (WAM) is a decentralized and political social movement protesting against incidents of brutality specifically directed at werewolves and half-werewolves alike. Due to the recent influx of anti-werewolf legislation and people in positions of power who dislike werewolves, there has been a steady increase in hate motivated attacks on werewolves and half-werewolves in and around Wizarding London

The once colorful storefront of Zonko's Joke Shop was just another of the buildings consumed by fire during the attack on Hogsmeade; little remains of the building beyond ash and ruin, the occasional bauble of the shop that had once stood in that spot rearing its head from beneath the carnage. The building was almost entirely destroyed, for now only portions of the brick outer walls remaining upright, though they too are burnt and covered in ash. The shop is currently being rebuilt by the owner.
